Newtown Heritage Festival

The Newtown Heritage Festival will be held on May 25th. Our museum exhibits will all be open and free of admission charges on that day. We will also unveil new exhibits, and introduce new objects in existing exhibits. Other museums and cultural organizations will have tables in our side yard to showcase their attractions to the public.
In partnership with the Newtown Heritage Festival, we will offer a trolley tour titled “Serious about Business,” which tells the history of seven business sites in town. The tour will occur at 10:00am, 11:30am and 4:00pm. While it is free, tickets are required due to limited space. Please arrive at the trolley 10 minutes in advance, or risk forfeiting your ticket.
