August 21 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Join us for an engaging discussion of Scott Patchan’s latest book, George Washington in the French and Indian War!

It’s widely believed that George Washington started this war just two and a half hours from here at Fort Necessity in southwestern Pennsylvania. Many early colonists from this region moved there – and beyond – as they pushed the frontier further west. Driving the stakes even higher, some historians call it the first truly global war because it spread to Europe, India, the African coast, and the Philippines. It certainly set in motion many of the events that led to the American Revolution!

Our meeting room will be Rachel’s Kitchen, which is down the stairs on the right when you enter the main doors of the Shenandoah Lodge & Athletic Club.
